Workshop: WE ARE WHAT WE EAT, cultivating a nutritious, healthy, rich and wise diet
Our dietary choices play a fundamental role in our health and well-being. Choosing a plant-based diet can be key to staying healthy and vital. A vegetarian diet has been shown to be associated with a reduction in heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and certain types of cancer. Additionally, a balanced plant-centered diet provides us with the essential nutrients, fiber, and antioxidants needed to maintain a healthy weight and feel energized. At the same time, it contributes to environmental sustainability by reducing the ecological impact associated with meat production.
In this three-session workshop, we will focus on cultivating a diet based on kindness to our bodies and the environment. By the end of the workshop, you will have learned to prepare a variety of balanced, nutritious, and delicious menus that will help you nourish your body and spirit in a conscious and wise way.
